Toshiba’s MR Software Delivers Faster, Easier Cardiac Exams
CardioLine Enhances Efficiency and Productivity; Showcased at ACC
WASHINGTON, D.C., March 29, 2014 – MR cardiac exams are faster and more accurate with new tools from Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. CardioLine, now available on the Vantage TitanTM 1.5T and 3T MR systems, improves workflow and standardizes exams to meet the pressures of today’s cardiology market.
A Toshiba exclusive, CardioLine is a fully automated cardiac positioning alignment tool that reduces exam times and inconsistent results, which are often due to manual positioning and multiple operators. It automatically detects anatomical landmarks for accurate and reproducible positioning to complete alignment of six standard cardiac views without any operator interaction.
Also available for enhanced cardiac exams are QMass and QFlow. Integrated with the Vitrea® software from Vital Images, Inc., QMass and QFlow provide a full set of tools for faster post-processing of cardiac MR cases. QMass is a workflow solution with fast quantitative analysis of cardiac MR data for more accurate diagnoses. QFlow secures quantitative analysis of velocity-encoded phase contrast MR data.
“We strive to develop the most advanced MR technology to put our customers first in delivering efficient and accurate diagnoses that can impact their bottom line and patient experience,” said Beverly Plost, director, MR Business Unit, Toshiba. “Efficiency and productivity is built into every Toshiba MR system, giving hospitals the flexibility to focus on improving patient care.”
Toshiba will showcase these cardiac MR tools at this year’s American College of Cardiology (ACC) annual meeting in Washington, D.C., March 29–April 2, 2014 (Booth #2323).
